My Story
The Story Behind M'Ayd
Made for petites. Made with intention.
Hi, I'm Deb, the founder of M'Ayd the Label.
M'Ayd began from something very simple — I was tired of buying clothes that were never quite made for me.
At 5'0", I know the frustration of pants that are always too long, tops that overwhelm a smaller frame and beautiful pieces that still need altering before you can actually wear them.
I wanted something different.
I wanted clothes designed with petite women in mind from the very beginning — not simply standard sizing made shorter as an afterthought.
So M'Ayd the Label was created.
Every piece is thoughtfully considered, from the proportions and lengths to the fabrics, fit and feel. There have been countless samples, adjustments and tiny changes along the way, because I want each piece to feel effortless when you put it on.
My vision for M'Ayd is simple: beautiful, wearable clothing that makes petite women feel confident, comfortable and put together — without the constant need for alterations and without the huge price tag.
A Name Close to My Heart
Even the name M'Ayd is personal.
The letters represent my family — M for Madeline, A for Angelo, D for Domenic and Deborah, with the Y bringing us all together.
This brand may have started with my own struggle to find clothes that fit, but it has grown into something much bigger.
It's for every petite woman who has stood in a change room thinking, "Why can't they just make this for someone my height?"
Now we are.
Welcome to M'Ayd the Label.
Petite M'Ayd Perfect.
